My buddy, Bald Jeremy, and I took a solid 13 mile hike to the top of Palomar Mountain in the Cleveland National Forest. At the highest point of the mountain sits California’s tallest fire tower called the “high point fire lookout”. After a couple hours of hiking to the summit we celebrated with some fresh potato tacos. The first 2 miles of the hike are on a small wilderness trail but then at the start of mile 3 you join an old fire road and follow that for 4.5 miles. All is worth it once you get to the summit and see views from the ocean all the way to san gorgonio…. #tacos #highpoint #hiking #tacoslayers
