CHIMICHURRI STEAK TACOS
Yesterday, Shannon and I picked up a couple prime grass fed steaks and grilled them up for one of our favorite tacos.
We picked up one rib eye and one t-bone and after seasoning them up with salt and pepper, I cooked them up over coals on my @charbroilgrills cb940.
I prepared my chimichurri earlier using both cilantro and parsley. I’ll leave my recipe below.
With a comal toasted flour tortilla I piled in the meat, the chimichurri , queso fresco and some heat from @mariesharpsusa Belizean Heat habanero pepper sauce (the perfect hot sauce for chimichurri) .
My Chimichurri Recipe went something like this:
-2 bunch Parsley
-2 bunch cilantro
-1 cup rice vinegar
-2 table spoons of olive oil
-1 table spoon crushed red peppers
– pepper
-3 cloves of chopped garlic
-1 table spoon of oregano
-salt to taste
