TACO DAY 798/1000


Yesterday I whipped up a pretty awesome round of tacos dorados using some left over carnitas.

First I sliced up some red onions and mixed them with lime juice, pepper, salt and garlic salt. Next I chopped up a little green cabbage. Lastly I placed some carnitas in a tortilla and into some hot oil for a few moments until the tortillas were crispy. After pulling them out of the oil I placed them on to a cutting board and laid down the layers of sour cream, cabbage, cilantro, and the lime soaked red onions.

Then I finished up these tacos with a very generous pouring of @yellowbirdsauce Habanero to elevate the heat factor on these tacos….good vibes and great flavors.
