FRIED CHICKEN AND WAFFLE TACOS

Last night we checked a major taco off the list of tacos I’ve been wanted to attempt. About a year ago I found a waffle cone maker at the thrift store and it was in that moment I started dreaming of making waffle tortillas with with fried chicken.

The waffle cone maker was intended to make ice cream cones but I used a pretty standard waffle recipe which left the waffles much more tortilla like. I melted mozzarella cheese to one side for stability and piled in some cabbage slaw. Next, a slice of bacon graced the slaw followed by a few pieces of homemade fried chicken.

Lastly I pulled out the @cutinosauce blueberry hot sauce that’s packed with habanero, ghost pepper, and an unbelievable great flavor that made it perfect for these particular tacos so I drizzled the blueberry sauce ALL OVER!

Absolutely delicious!
