CANNIBAL ISLAND CHICKEN TACOS
I was lucky enough to receive one of these limited batch 13th anniversary @humboldt_hotsauce CANNIBAL ISLAND Hot Sauce so I thought I would properly put it through its paces with a wild boneless chicken wing taco….I had no idea what I was in-store for.
I mixed together a slaw of red and green cabbage, cilantro, a little mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, pepper and rice vinegar. I toasted up a couple corn tortillas with a very delicious coating of crispy mozzarella cheese. Next I tossed some fried chicken bites in a pool of this trinidad scorpian, habanero, carolina reaper, scotch bonnet infused #CANNIBALISLAND hot sauce . The sauce had a some sweet flavors of pineapple, mango, and Guavas that I thought would go well with the chicken.
I placed in a heaping mound of slaw into the cheesy tortillas along with a few pieces of Hot hot hot chicken and a sprinkling of green onions and began the slaying….
HOLY SMOKES this sauce packed a good lava punch but had a solid all around flavor and tasted phenomenal on these tacos.
