Breaded Fish Tacos
Scored some alaskin cod yesterday and it was destined to become the next set of tacos for my family. While Shannon breaded and battered the fish I worked up a killer citrus slaw consisting of red and green cabbage, broccoli, carrots, tomato, cilantro, green onions, apple cider vinegar, juice from a couple cuties, juice from a lime, crushed red peppers and salt.
We also whipped up a delicious tater sauce and a spicy cream topping. The blue tortillas were store bought from our local carniceria and always go perfect for fish tacos if they’re not in flour tortillas.
Next I fried up each piece of breaded cod in a pool of hot corn oil before piling all the ingredients into the tortilla dousing it in @tigersauceofficial and eating all this hard work up…..but it sure was worth it.
