CARNITAS TACOS & J’S TACOS FOR SUNDAY
Started Sunday off by hitting up our local Cars & Coffee event put on by @detailgaragemurrieta . Right as we walked in I spotted @js_tacos in the corner. I don’t usually eat before 1pm buuutttt for tacos, why not? I grabbed a plate of 3 tacos: carne asada, chicken, and al pastor. Each taco came plan but gave each customer the chance to hook it up their own way. Naturally I piled mine high with cilantro, onions, cucumbers, carrots, red/green sauce as well as the secret J’S SAUCE just because. They were killer and perfect for breakfast.
After heading to the farmers market and thrift store to find some new taco plates we made our way ace hardwood where I finally came into contact with @meatchurch Holy Voodoo seasoning. I’ve been watching @blackstone_griddlin use this stuff pretty religiously and I was stoked to try it out.
My bacon wrapped queso stuffed jalapenos recieved the inaugural sprinkle as did the left over carnitas tacos I whipped up. These tacos sat on blue corn tortilla amongst a pile of @yucatanguac and covered in a fresh tomatillo salsa with pickled red onions. It so darn delicious.
