@meatchurch STUFFED JALAPENO CARNE ASADA TACOS!
Last nights dinner began with a little craving for some bacon wrapped queso stuffed jalapenos that got out of control real quick.
As I was picking up some killer thick cut bacon at my local @wildomargroceryoutlet I noticed a fat deal on a couple lbs of skirt steak. This is when I decided to take these tacos to the next level.
Once back at home I halved up a bunch of large jalapenos and using bacon, I wrap each half up with a chuck of queso in the center. Over the top I sprinkled over some @meatchurchbbqsupply
HOLY VOODOO seasoning and popped them in the oven for about 25 min.
While the bacon cooked I grabbed some gnarly ‘purple Cherokee ” tomatoes, fresno peppers, jalapenos, and a habanero from my wife’s garden and a white onion, green onion, garlic and cilantro I picked up at the store and blended up a pretty tasty salsa.
Next I took the steak meat and coated each side with the @meatchurch Dia de la Fajita seasoning and placed it onto a flaming hot @charbroilgrills . The meat doesn’t take long when it’s this thin and once ready I brought it inside to complete my concoction.
First some “Street sized” tortillas glazed in guacamole. Then a heaping pile of carne asada, salsa and finally this taco is completed with the placing of an over-proportioned bacon wrapped jalapeno. Bombdiggity!
