OLD BAY CHICHARON CRUSTED FISH TACOS
All the credit for the next level tacos goes to my lovely wife. When the plan didn’t work out, she came up with an incredible solution.
With some alaskin halibut we caught at @wildomargroceryoutlet we soaked in a buttermilk egg mixture before dredging into some flour and crumb up chicharons. After frying them up till golden I tossed them around in a bowl with @oldbay_seasoning hot sauce and set them aside.
Next I whipped up a classic citrus slaw with both green and purple cabbage, red bell peppers, cilantro and the juice from a lime, orange, and lemon.
Using fresh flour tortillas, homemade tarter sauce, and a fresh garden salsa I constructed these tacos up to what you see here and they turned out excellent!
