FRIDAY NIGHT TACO TRUCK HUNTING

Last night we tracked down a couple local taco trucks in Lake Elsinore.

The first truck we came across was @tacoschonchis and they had a full on party going on in their parking lot including a live band. I ordered up 1 of each taco: carne asada, al pastor, chicken, and birria. Each taco was piled high with meat, cilantro and onion. They also were serving a variety of fruited agua frescos but opted to get a chamoy covered Arizona Watermelon. The food here was absolutely killer and very reasonably priced.

Next we continued our hunt and found success relatively close when we came across @birrieriaxolos
parked a couple miles away. Xolos is known for their epic birria and I couldn’t pass it up a few wet tacos. I ordered a couple quesobirria tacos and they were huge leaving zero room in my stomach to continue looking for more trucks so we called it a night.
