CARNE ASADA TACOS w/ SALSA ROJA

We whipped up another round of super tasty carne asada tacos yesterday. This time it was with a beautiful slice of arracherra meat and seasoned to perfection. However I opted to cook this one on a cast iron skillet in the house this time around.

While the meat cooked I took the remainder of tomatoes and peppers from our last harvest and cooked them up in another cast iron. With the jalapenos, serranos, bell peppers, Cherokee tomatoes, grape tomatoes, roma tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, salt and oregano I whipped up the tastiest salsa I’ve made all year.

The Taco fixings sat on a beautifully prepared Sonora style flour tortilla, the el comalitos from @elcomalproducts , and I COVERED the tacos in the roja salsa.

To wash these tacos down I grabbed a bomb @nova_kombucha mango/pineapple Kombucha from my local @grocery_outlet and made it a non-alcoholic michilada with @gringolocobeercandy and @tajinusa .

That badass Ramones style taco sticker is from Bryce at @showusyourtaco he’s also got some killer hats available with the same designs.
