MASECA FRIED FISH TACOS
Yesterday morning I was scrolling through the nets and came across @freddsters making some pretty tasty looking fish tacos. In his recipe he coated his fish with mustard, sauce and all sorts of spices AND THEN coated them in @maseca.mexico instead of flour!! Naturally I had to try it out for myself.
After seasoning and coating up a few pieces of cod I dropped them into a little hot oil and fried them up till crispy. Next I chopped and mixed up some cabbage, cilantro, red bell peppers and green onion with a little kimichi mayo to pair with the fried fish.
A toasted flour tortilla would handle vessel responsibilities as I piled in both the meat and slaw followed by a few gentle drops of @elyucateco_hotsauce to finish this taco off.
Sooooooo good.
