KOGI STYLE KBBQ BEEF TACOS
Back to back taco nights using @chefroychoi super tasty brand of Kogi sauces. Last night I utilized the @kogibbq Kbbq marinade and dipping sauce to create a homemade version of those classic Kogi Tacos.
I used a few New York steaks that I grilled over fire on my @charbroilgrills. After the meat was cooked I sliced them up and tossed them around with the Kogi sauce before serving.
The tacos come together over an oil toasted corn tortilla from @elcomalproducts . First I placed a layer down of the Irwindale CA made @huyfongfoods ground chile paste before a scoop of green and purple cabbage slaw (with soy sauce, raddishes, red peppers, lime juice, rice vinegar, and a couple drops of sesame oil). After the slaw I piled in a mountain of the sweetened grilled steak followed by a cilantro/green onion/ and lime juice relish, a drizzle of Sriracha and @eatluckyfoods Kimchi Mayo to finish these tacos off.
Soooo freaking good, you probably won’t have left overs..
